There are several purposes for network servers such as file servers, print servers, web servers, mail servers and more. In some cases one server can serve all these functions and in other cases it may take several servers to handle one of these functions. On top of all these functions a server can play in you organization they typically are the center of all operations, therefore if a server fails it's important to have proper backup procedures and disaster recovery plans. With these plans in place your organization can ensure little to no server down time. Assessments and Documentation
During any work or project that Ensonix does for your organization they always deliver detailed Executive and Engineering documentation. The detail of the documentation is created for several reasons. The first reason and most important is our pre-documentation. The pre-documentation is designed prior to any work beginning which helps ensure that during the project nothing unexpected creeps in to the scope. The second reason is for continued support, when an issue arises, Ensonix Engineers do not need to re-learn the design of the network to determine where the problem is, which saves both time and money for your organization. Third, if other vendors come in or an upgrade is determined later down the road, no one needs to re-assess your network, because it's already been completely documented.
In the case where your organization already has a network, and you find the problems above, being that each time an engineer or vendor comes in they have to figure out how everything is working first, then you can employee Ensonix to do an assessment and document the results. All information is given to the client in both a binder and a CD-ROM so that you can load it on your network and keep the information up to date. In cases where Ensonix is supplying the support, then our Engineers will keep the documentation up to date for your organization.
